Kurt and Laurie flew me out to Chapel Hill, NC this April to document their rehearsal dinner and wedding day. They invited their family and close friends to party with them the night before the wedding at The Station, an awesome train depot turned rock n’ roll bar. It was raining as I arrived, but as soon I stepped inside the chill was immediately replaced by the warmth and love I found in the room. People were full of happiness, support, excitement, and complete joy for the couple that had found happiness in each other. I’m lucky enough to have shot the weddings of three different couples that were in this room, Kurt and Laurie becoming my fourth. Through this community I’ve found an invaluable amount of support as I chased this dream of mine, and was honored that another couple within it trusted me to document their love.
